Files Panel

You’ll probably spend a large portion of your time in this panel. Here you can upload new files, replace current ones and delete unnecessary ones.

If the format of your ad only specifies one content layer (eg. In Page), then there will just be one set of files listed. For formats with more than one content layer (eg. Floating and Overlay), the files are clearly separated into a list for each content layer. For an explanation of content layers, you can read our formats explained article.

The main file is the first file that loads into the content layer. This can be replaced by clicking on the upload icon next to it or deleting (in which case you will need to upload a new main file). This main file often loads in further files, which are listed under ‘additional files’. The files listed will be displayed in one of the following ways:

additionalfile.swf This means that the main file (or another additional file) is requesting this file, by name, and that the file has already been uploaded to ONE by AOL: Creative.

additionalfile.swf [please upload] This means that the main file (or another additional file) tries to load this file, by name, but that the file hasn’t been uploaded to ONE by AOL: Creative yet. You need to click on the upload icon to upload this required file.

file1: additionalfile.swf This means that the main file (or another additional file) loads in a file using the ADTECH.getFileUrlById('file1') method, and that the file additionalfile.swf has already been uploaded to ONE by AOL: Creative to load in as “file1″. You can click the upload icon next to this to upload an alternative file to load in as file1, or you can click the delete icon to delete the file currently associated with file1.

file1:[please upload] This means that the main file (or another additional file) loads in a file using the ADTECH.getFileUrlById('file1') method but that a file hasn’t been uploaded to ONE by AOL: Creative yet for this id. You can click on the upload icon next to this to upload this required file.

The Add files link which you can use to upload further files, or a zip containing multiple files. Lastly the Download all files button at the bottom of the Files panel will allow you to download a zip of all files in an ad.
